84 Carrera Convertible part missing!! Help

Hi Guys,

the left strud is broken in my Con Top mechanism. See attached pic.
Where can I get a replacement?

All of the convertible top parts are hard to find. I've had success in the past (needed to replace my right main bow) with dC Auto in North Carolina. www.dcauto.com.

Alloy welding shop........

miki,

Another option you might try is have the broken threaded piece welded by someone very familiar with aluminum welding process. If you look very closely to this aluminum piece, you'll see that the break occurred at the bend that weakens the aluminum thread section. However, if you could locate a replacement part, that would be your first choice. Good luck.
