magnus walker SC exhaust

Hello all...not sure if you've seen this video on Magnus Walker's latest build....

eGarage - Cruising My Religion

The sound is so perfectly raw and raspy and loud....does anyone have any insight as to his setup? It looks very similar to the M&K GT3 twin exhaust. I read all the articles as well as his blog and all they mention is a twin pipe exhaust with no details...any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm with Steve on this.....he's a very nice and approachable guy. I'm sure he'll respond to an email....maybe not this week as he's at SEMA though.

Magnus uses a lot of our mufflers. They sound like the one in the clip but I do not think that is ours.

The wheels on that car are pretty cool. Have never seen them before.
Anyone know what they are?

I personally think they're awesome...wish I had the extra scratch.

It sounds exactly like the M&K 2-out that was on my ex-'87 Carrera.

The exhaust was so loud on the street that I eventually installed a pair of "beer can" baffles made for a Harley-Davidson which tamed it down just enough. Same raspy tone, just not quite as much of it.

Billybek , the wheels are made by Magnus. He sells them. I checked the price once and thought it was pretty reasonable but forget the exact cost.

the wheels are made by fifteen52 and the price, give or take, is around $750 - which is comparable with other rims out there. i thought it a fair price.

thanks for all the advice. I emailed Magnus and we'll see what he says. As for now...I'm strongly considering ordering a GT3 exhaust from rarly8 I have George's headers sitting in the garage. I think it will be amazing.

I think you're going to kill it with that set up (in a good way) Make sure you post up some audio / video clips when you're done.

New (to me) from M&K

Almarmada,
Not sure what the originating source was on Magnus'...and if Brian with M&K isn't sure, your only hope will be the man himself...I think he'll come thru for you.
I can, however, tell you about my new M&K, as a recommendation. Brian made me a muffler (their "sport") which I installed last night. I requested the longer 10" pipes and the raw stainless finish. I could not possibly be happier with it. If you are truly looking for "raw, raspy and loud" this is definitely it. Superior materials, amazing sound, super light, good value and the best part, the most excellent customer service in the business, by far!
Couple of pics....and clip at bottom, (I hope).
Good luck with your search...

Oh mah gawwd. That's a beautiful hind end. Thanks SD swede. It has to be that exhaust or something very similar. That's the raspy loud yet tuned sound I'm going for. The old small displacement screaming metallic noise. Thanks for the clip. I'll be ordering soon.

If this is your daily driver, be forewarned that the muffler is super loud, and most drone.

"NO STEP" warning should be on them. If you are really short, may be just too tempting.

Well Magnus responded. He said he is running straight headers and the dansk two in two out sport muffler. So I will match my George's headers with the dansk. Parts come in next week I will be sure to post a thorough video inside and outside of the car. Much excite so exhaust.
