Do yourself a favor and don't buy one of these. I had bought one a few years ago from here and it stranded me on the highway after about 20 minutes. Installed the old one back in and it ran fine. Pelican replaced it with another and same thing happened again. So now I am stuck with a $240 paper weight. Find a good used original one. These silver Brazilian ones are junk.

Do a search on msd blaster high vibration coil. I am pretty sure I read on here that it is a suitable replacement. Just don't buy that silver coil.

I'm running the MSD coil on mine. The price is right and it runs like a top.

Thanks,

for SC has to be oem i would imagine with the shielding.

Yeah the Brazillion Paper weight is a well documented issue .. i have one of my own actually ..lasted me about 90 minutes .. put my original back on and still going strong . I have am MSD high vibration coil as an emergency back up .
