Details to Modify G50 drive Flanges
Hi all, does anyone have exact details regarding the modifications neccesary to a a G50 108mm diameter fine spline gearbox flange to fit a 915 box ?.
I've found lots of refrencese but no detail. |

If you are replacing 100mm fine spline output flanges with 108mm flanges and you can't find the 915 version, then, as mentioned, you can use the G50 108mm flange from the '87-'89 G50. The flanges are identical except the G50 spline shaft is a little longer. I would suppose you could take your old 100mm fine spline and the G50 108mm to a machine shop and have them milled to the same length. Seems pretty easy. As you probably already know, the '85 1/2-'86 915 108mm flanges are almost "unobtanium" unless you spend the BIG bucks for new.
