Found Porsche, need shovel....
I think at some point every car guy dreams of digging up their diamond in the rough out of a field, barn or junkyard and spending late nights and plenty of cocktails bringing your find back to life. Well this weekend that dream has been realized. I'll be heading down to North Carolina to retrieve my "new" project. Long long story (actually 25 years) I convinced a friend to sell me a stalled project, a 1973 Porsche 911 that someone started an RSR conversion on to go to the track! It's a roller and she's rough but what do you do when you find a 911 with welded-in RSR flares, a rollcage, various fiberglass body bits and a carbon fiber dash? Oh I know! You build an Outlaw/Track Weapon... I'm brand new to this forum but only my fellow Porsche freaks would understand the gravity of my excitement! I know the "outlaw"movement is polarizing but it totally fits my personality. i'm a 41 year old black guy from Massachusetts who's an engineer by trade, works for various teams in the Tudor Series, is a front man in a punk rock/hardcore band and races downhill mountain bikes. Wish me luck fellas and I'll be posting pics shortly. I'll need your support because god knows i won't be getting it from HQ (my wife...)

Hallnic, any way you can make it to Stow airport tomorrow (Thurs) night 5-8 I think. Its a german car night with emphasis on Porsche and I know you can meet some soulmates in person. Id like to hear the story. see you there?
This happens every Thursday night of the summer but NER will focus on three nights: June 19th, July 17th (Special Porsche night) and August 21st. Planes and cars, enough said. Each week will feature specialty cars. Mingle with fellow car and plane enthusiasts. Fun for all ages–bring the whole family! Great food, including wood-fired pizza, burgers, and dogs from the award-winning Nancy’s at the Air Field, popcorn, and libations. Plenty of free public parking. Leashed pets allowed. Great photo opportunity. Fun summer event for the greater Stow, MA area. Donations to benefit community service projects. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

You sound a lot like Robb Holland, except I don't think Robb likes punk. Looking forward to your project blog... |
