Do any pelicanites make interior trim

G,day all

Are there any talented people out in pelican world that make interior trim pieces.

The piece I'm specifically after it the black section that covers the a pillars and the top of windscreen in a targa, so I can fit the screen.

I would be interested in purchasing a few pieces in the black 9036 as supplied by our host.

I'm happy to pay for you to purchase the material then make the parts and mail to me

Any takers

Regards Michael

Ps cost to get a quantity of material to Aus is a lot so I'm hoping someone can ship the finished product therefore weighing less

Mike... am going to instigate you to DIY. Am not looking at car at moment but believe that trim must tuck under other parts. Easy enough to undo the parts the will come off. Make template with paper... then cut black covering. I would use a skim coat of gel epoxy to attach---others would use spray adhesive. Not a rocket science project IMHO.

Google-mapped Hobart. Curious place to be!

Thanks Karl

G,day Karl,

I have thought about DIY but I'm a bit unsure of the joining in the corners.

The piece I have out is stitched in the corners. ( but very poor and stiff condition to use as a template)

Currently the windscreen and door seals are out so pretty easy access.

If you like the look of Hobart look up targa Tasmania it's a staged targa style race with lots of high profile drivers and aus muscle cars as well as plenty of Porsches.

Regards Michael

I know that stitching---upper corners.

Replaced all my molding a few years ago and recall the pillar and cross member covering being very dry & stiff. Might be possible to iron it flat... low heat so as not to melt it. If you have GF with sewing machine, sign her up to sew corners. I'm so DIY, I'd sew the f'ers by hand.

Been reading about event. It's north of Melbourne in Mansfield. Couple of hundred miles from Hobart including ferry from Tas to Melbourne.

Interesting to see s-wheel on right side of car.

(Just beginning top rebuild on my Targa.)
