Seeking referral for backdate/resto project

Gang, hope this hasn't been covered in an earlier post...

I'm getting ready to start a backdate/resto project and need a shop that can handle the majority of the work. Not in the market for a "Singer" quality job. Will be a 4 season driver and occasional track day toy.

I live in Denver, CO, so a local shop would be preferred, though I will gladly go out of state for the right builder.

Please let me know if you have a favorite shop for this type of work. Thanks!

TRE is a good recommendation.

If you want an extremely thorough, all steel backdate, I recommend John Esposito

For evidence, check out this thread.

The two top body shops in the area are Apex Autobody and SVE. Apex has extensive experience with real RS and RSRs. Both will be quite expensive but worth every cent. That's the paint and body part of it.

If you want to go through the mechanicals I would talk to Steve Rowe at Rowe Performance. He tends those same RSs and RSRs mentioned above.

No need to go out of state to get high quality work.

Another vote for TRE, they have done two complete builds for me and I have another waiting in the wings. I live in Maryland, and have found it is well worth the added expense of shipping to get the car finished both economically and timely. Dave is great to work with and an excellent communicator .
