Does Anyone have a photo of Carrera Charcoal Cannister
I'm wondering if anyone has a good photo of a Carrera or 964 charcoal canister (installed). This is the canister that is located in the passenger side wheel well.
Since adding PMO EFI, I want to switch to the later canister and it would be nice if I could mount it under the fender rather than in the engine compartment. I've acquired all the parts but would like to identify the exact factory location. I've also considered installing on the driver side fender well since that would simplify the routing of the vacuum lines but I'll start with a correct photo first. |

Thanks! That helps.
If there are any more photos out there, please post them. I'm trying to figure where to drill holes. This photo helps and I will see how my canister lines up with the indentations on the frame. I'm also looking to see how the hoses enter the engine compartment. I'm installing this on my '74 so there are no factory markings on my car. Last edited by Tidybuoy; 11-21-2014 at 03:54 PM.. |
