Bumper strip question

80s 911 style bumper
There are inserts to hold plastic strip onto bumper...If popped out ( for painting) can they be reused , i.e reinstalled ....or do I need mew ones.

Do you mean the rubber "dam" that fits under the front bumper? If so, it is held on with the hardware pictured in the Pelican Tech Article on the installation of that piece. That piece is best removed with the front valence off of the car. I had to cut each of the 15 6mm nuts off with a dremel in order to save the stud mounted on the metal piece that mounts the rubber to the valence.

No ...but figured it out ....Strip which is plastic holds center rubber strip on ..Thanks for trying but you covered chin lip/spoiler.
To answer question its a pain but can be done .
