Tie into flashers
Need help locating a hot wire to tie into flashers. I am installing electric door locks and when arming and disarming, the system will flash lights.

What year is your car.
BTW, you need diodes to insure the current only goes one way, if you did not know that already.

Fuses 18 & 19 from rear to front of the car or Fuses 5 & 6 of Block 3 on a 3.2 84-89
Again make certain you have one way diodes.

Thank you Draco. By any chance do you have more information on the diodes and how to to install? I think one of the last Radio Shacks is near by, so I can pick up there. Electrical I s not one if my strong points

It is been a while since I installed my Black Widow remote entry system.
Do a search on Black Widow and there is a Pelican that gave a detailed tutorial on adding the entry system and adding the diodes or you can talk to the sales guy and let them know you need 2 one way diodes. Remember you want the signal/voltage to go to the markers but not the other way around back to your system module, it may damage it or worse your car.
