Here are some better pics Ben. BTW, the bumper in these pics is getting changed to a Ruf as we speak.

rattlsnak - what I found was that with the tailpipes coming off right at the bottom of the can, tangent to the can and parallell to the ground, this was the largest that would fit and leave a bit of clearance at the license plate. You might be able to get another 1/4".

How does the sound compare with the 1 in/1 out? Any drone issues? Any pic"s with valence cut to fit? Very nice looking product.

In the pic on the car, I just had the right tailpipe functional. The way that one is made, the internal divider between the unmuffled side and the mufflerd side runs right between the tailpipes. I have heard a couple of standard one-in-one-out MKs, and I'd say this one is very (very!) slightly louder, has a wonderful burble at idle and lower crusing speeds (like 2500 RPM in 3rd/4th/5th), and sounds really great at higher revs - gets raspier and throatier. I had Ben make the new one with the divider moved so both tailpipes are functional, and I expect it to not sound much different, maybe a little stronger in the low frequencies. I don't think it will drone like the 2-outs with the tailpipes on the ends, but I'll let everyone know once I get it installed.

Mike - you're gonna love it! Ben said the second pipe could be opened and he didn't think it would be much louder, even though that side has a direct path to the inlet. Fine for a track car, probably fine for a street car.

Michael, I'd be interested to hear how this compares to the "Mutant" muffler. This looks about the same size. The mutant was a little much for my daily driver, though sometimes I miss it's bark.

waaay better then that muffler retail was set at $675 vs the 625 of the normal 1in's do to limited volume at this point. I would expect it to appear on pelicans web page shortly but call your preffered pelican rep before that if you need one now

I will be sure to post some sounds clips once I get it on. Unfortunately it's not too likely that I will be able to do any under driving conditions given the weather here though.
Ben, does the one that I'm getting have both tailpipes open or just the one per Wavey's comments earlier? Not a really big deal, I'm just curious. Thanks!

Not to hi-jack but I have a couple of uncut fiberglass rear valances that would go well with this setup. You can see pics on my website.
