The rubber molding on the driver's door sill came off while I was putting a wheelskin on my steering wheel. It had come loose during a New Orleans heat wave.
What kind of adhesive should I use to reinstall it? Any suggestion re how to clean it. Frank '77 Targa |

Adhesive
Had the same problem. Used 3M Weatherstrip Adhesive (Black)
P/N 051135 08011. Got it at NAPA. Works great. |

You can also use double-sided tape. That's how a new door sill rubber part is fastened from the factory.

Are you supposed to use adhesive?

I'd try a new one rather than a used one, but that's just me.
As for adhesive.......
