Umm... First I use my brakes on the rotors, not my hands, maybe this is your problem...

Seriously though, Soap and Water should be enough.... THough the Gojo is king... And baby wipes work spectacularly... Always carry them to the track.

Buy a box of latex or nitrile gloves and save yourself a lot of hassle. No more dirt under the fingernails either!

I was cleaning the inside of my Fuchs. Filthy! The latex gloves would have been a great idea. Plus, I breathed in a lot of dust, too. My snot is black! I'm gonna shoot some WD40 on my fingernails right now.

Any tips on cleaning the backside of Fuchs? Thanks for the tips.

For cleaning wheels, I use Groit's Garage wheel cleaner. It has a very nuetral PH level ( 8) which keeps it from eating your alloys.

For my hands, I wear latex gloves when the job is dirty. But I have found either Lava or Gojo to be good hand cleaner.

Nitrile gloves. that's the way to go.

If you think that brake materials containing asbestos are a thing of the past, think again. Stores are still selling them. Of course, our brake PADS do not contain it, but I am still suggesting that car chemistry is not "non-toxic." Protect yourself.

I finish my projects with clean hands. Gloves. The way to go.

I am going out to get some latex gloves.
I never thought I'd hear myself say that.

One side of me thinks this is a little kinky.
Another side says maybe this is what I wanted all along.

Thanks very much for the feedback.
