Does this black cable go to the starter?

Just noticed this black cable molded toward the starter. Where does it go?

Test to be sure, but Porsche runs a black positive cable from the battery to the starter positive terminal that mates up with the red wire from the alternator.
Counter intuitive but true!

Many have been there and can't remember 5 months later but as Dennis said, its the +12V from the battery.

I put some heat red heat shrink on mine before hook it back 12 volts

Perfect, thank you gents. If you look at images you always see the engine out of the car or this cable already D/C so had to ask.
