Need a pic of AAR in turbo car

Hi guys, If possible can someone post of pic of their Auxiliary Air Regulator in the car showing the hoses and where they go?

I currently have a 1975 911 with a 1989 3.3 turbo motor in it. The AAR was removed by the PO because he didn't think it was working properly. The car won't idle without stalling until its warmed up. He included the AAR when I bought the car and I want to try and reinstall it or find out why the car wont idle, but I'm not sure what hoses go where. Another issue is I have a huge aftermarket intercooler covering 90% of the engine bay so I can't see in very well. I'll have to remove the intercooler to install the aar and try to find the electrical plug for it.

Any pics would be appreciated! This is what i'm working with here.

Ok so I took my monster intercooler off for the first time and finally got a good look at my motor. Can someone tell me from the pic below, do I need to attache a hose to the othe end of the AAR and install it into the intake manifold where the round silver circle is visible in the pic. I believe that is something the PO used to block the AAR since he wasn't using it. I assume the other hose on the AAR goes into to intercooler since there was a port blocked off on it.

Thanks, Chris

Puddy, you are correct (Robby is, too), the "exit" hose from the AAR attaches to the primary intake manifold at the spout that is capped with a hose that has something pressed into it in your picture. When the AAR slider is open, air from the intercooler bypasses the closed throttle plate and this causes the engine idle speed to increase (that's why the hose from the AAR has to be attached beneath/after the throttle body).

Notice also that there is an arrow cast into the side of the AAR that shows the correct path the air takes (Robby's is plumbed correctly, by the way, although he mounted it in a custom/modified location).

Fantastic! Thanks so much for the info guys! I'll get it installed and hopefully my cold start stalling issue will be gone.

Does the AAR have to be bolted down? I see some mounting posts on my intake manifold next to the WUR? but my AAR has a slightly wider bolt pattern so it won't fit there. Further more with my large intercooler installed the AAR won't fit in the location anyways. So I'll have to have it in a slightly different position like in RobbbyGs photo. Can it be left floating or does it need to be fixed in place? With a couple stiff hoses on each end I can't see it moving much.

Thanks again!
