Lowered Pics

I've been playing with lowering the front end for a few days and now have it at what I think is a pretty good setting for the street. There is still plenty of suspension travel and the steering input is tight and responsive. The front was at a tad over 26" and I now have it at about 24.75". I left the back alone for now at 25".
BTW- Also just completed the wheel refinish and thanks to all you guys input, I polished out the paddles.

Dr. Mark

Thumbs up It looks great.

It sits perfect. I notice you have dual outs. What type exhaust are you running?

My family likes to lurk on this board with me and look at all the great looking cars. We each have our favorites.
Mark believe me when I say this is a compliment, My 2 year old daughter has a new favorite.
I think it looks pretty damn good also.

Herr Dokter Mark:
Zer gut! Nice, nice, ultra nice looking ride. Really clean & sharp. Love the ducktail, and the ride height is right on like everyone else has voiced. Enjoy! and again fantastic job with the car.

I want to lower mine...my question is where do you measure from and does it matter how much gas is in the tank?

Mark, your car is looking sensational. I've just got my wheels back from having the chrome removed and am begining the long process of sanding and polishing out to the same look as yours. All ready my fingers are sore and perpetually grey

Fantastic looking SC Dr. Mark! Your 911 encouraged me to go looking for a ducktail for my '79. What size tires are you running front and back? And who's exhaust system?? What else have you done to the car? Thanks!

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Bob - Measured at the centerline of the wheel as a ref point. And yes, fill the gas tank before you lower. A full tank dropped the front on mine ~1/2".

John - I hear you on the tired, sore nasty hands. The compound and polish is a bear to get out from fingernails. Can't wait to see pics of your ride after the refinish.

Dbyers - 2 year olds are great aren't they? Give her a big ol hug(every day)

rdane - The tires are 225/50 and 205/55 on 16x7's and 8's. No other major mods. Just enjoying driving it.

autobonrun - The exhaust is a Flowmaster 1 in 2 out that once resided on a very well known and very fast early Black 911. It has history.

Jack - thanks. Do you recognize the 7's on the front????

Mark
