trailing arm bushings???
 

I have the engine out right now , is there a way to replace trailing arm bushings, with out taking apart the taking apart the whole arm assembly, in other words do the bushing while arm still attached. thanks alhttp://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1421258645.jpg

Carerra, I had the same question in regards to my 82 SC. No, you must pull the arms. It isn't too bad. I bought "sport hardness rubber" bushings from Elephant. Having the use of a shop press makes the R&R of the bushings much easier. I did first try to get clever/cute and do this with the arms still in the car, but that was a waste of time and energy. I did mine. Taking out the arms is not bad. Scribe the position of the spring plates, leave the axles attached.

Removing arms, especially with engine and trans out is a breeze. The inner ones (up near trans) seldom need replacing. Some cars came with the bolt heads facing inwards which required removing trans to get them out without cutting off the heads.

Totally agree; I was very surprised that mine were still in very good condition.
