It has officially been 1 year
I left my car on Oct 16. Took it apart for paint left it at the paintshop and took off to the desert with the Air Force. I've been back and forth here ever since. I'm sitting in Saudi Arabia...again getting ready to go to Kuwait. My thoughts of spending the winter in my new garage tinkering with the Porsche and the Harley till wee hours in the morning have been snuffed out with orders to go to yet another location for an undetermined amount of time. This sacrifice crap is getting old but last time I checked this was a volunteer job, so I won't belly ache too much. I just need y'all to go drive your cars hard and think of me. Haven't driven the car in a year now and if I don't get home soon to put it back together I'll miss another summer.

What a bummer, man. I'll oblige you by taking my 911S out for a spin and when I get my '89 back (it's getting a new clutch/TOB etc) I'll rev it to 6k for ya!

Took the 911 for a nice long hard ride yesterday was able to escape from some of the crows and tourist

Guys like us have the luxury of 'driving the hell out of our p-cars' because guys like you take care of business over there for the rest of us... You bet I'll drive it for you today! Of course I'll be driving mine to my wrench this am to help sort out the latest electrical demon preventing my alternator from functioning! Take care of yourself. Ryan
