Exhaust Stud Question - Edited
I have an exhaust stud hole that is “holed through” & may have been a pre-existing situation. Am I OK to proceed with the installation of the new stud? Or should the bottom of the threaded hole be sealed off in some manner?
What’s next? Thanks in advance. Cheers JB

I think you just install the new stud, with Loctite, to the right height as measured by the rest of the other studs.

Seems to be a bit too easy & simple, but as often is the case, simplest is best.
Much appreciated - Thanks yelcab1 Cheers JB
