1976 Targa Numbers Matching ?

I have come across this 76 Targa for sale and I'm wondering if its got the original motor.

Here are the numbers

Engine Number is 6460279
Engine Code 911/82
VIN 9116210189

Any help appreciated.

After searching here I can see the 911/82 is correct for a 76 what about the VIN and serial number on the engine do they look correct. Thanks

Yeah I would say it's possible. Can't tell for sure without a certificate of authenticity.
