Confirmation Please: Front Struts Post 4/85 Bilstein
 

Okay, so I received my Bilsteins today.

Just purty they are :D

But wait, something is not right? I swear my inserts have the gland nut on the outside, not inside. Hmm, let me check.

My supposed pre 3/85 build car:

So it appears PO replaced front strut/spindle with a post 4/85 ones.

Can you fellas confirm. I do not recall my housing having threads on the inside at all.

Good News, apparently front Strut Assembly has been updated to 86-89 BOGE Sports :-)

So the inserts were discontinued Bisltein HD's the part is now 34-001141 for 86-89 3.2's
