Porsche Crest Isringhausen Imports of Illinois

Has anyone here had any dealings with their service department? Just looking for a good place to have some work done. Thanks.

I bought my 2005 Boxster used from them and have had service done there. I have had great success, but if you car is an 85 Carrera, you should know that most dealers mechanics have not worked on air cooled cars, however call them and talk to them. The Porsche Service manager is named Joe Brennan and Brian Zorn is their parts guru. They are both great guys. Brian got me some parts from Germany for my 74 when Pelican and Stoddard and Serria Madre said they were NLA. Ie Porsche is not always open to selling everything to the aftermarket.

I'm checking for my brother who recently bought a 2005 Cayenne Turbo(first Porsche). He's not on all these sites yet, so I thought I'd check for him. Thanks for all the responses so far.

I think they are about your only factory dealership in central Illinois. For an older air cooled Porsche, you couldn't do better than Brad Mayeur at 914Ltd. Though he's mainly into 914s, he's great at all aircooled Porsches and has been at it since the early 70s.

I live in Springfield. Haven't had dealings with them personally as I stick to early cars but they have a great reputation. I was told they are the number two rated service department in the US (might be bmw). Don't hold me to that. Just something I heard. I know of at least one mechanic that knows air cooled cars on their staff. He used to run an independent Porsche shop nearby.
