I think this was posted here a few weeks ago.
I find it very interesting........I have been driving turbo cars exclusively since 1979 when I bought my first Saab 900 Turbo. Have owned 6 more since then and currently my wife and I have Saab 95 Aeros sedans which are of course turbo, and both my grown sons have Saab 95 Aero wagons with turbos of their own. 2.3L engines with 250+HP that deliver 25 around town and over 30 MPG on the highway......and these are large 5 passenger 4 door vehicles. These modern turbo applications have turned out to be very reliable. The youngest of our cars has 160K miles. The water-cooled turbos are good for over 200K miles. A new turbo center section is about $200 if it does go. With the original cats, these Saabs pass CA smog with very low emissions. I love my 1973 911 and don't want a turbo on it however.
