Specifically trying to locate a 930 turbo motor to replace the 3.0 in my widebody 1980 SC. I have yet to find anything except eBay so I must be looking for love in all the wrong places....

Vertex Auto always advertises turnkey rebuilts in Pano also. No affiliation or experience with them.

LA Dismantlers is another, however treat all as a potential rebuild. Even the leak down that everyone views as the standard doesn't find bearing issues, valve guides, etc. unless it comes with verifiable receipts from a rebuild, be realistically skeptical.

I'd stay away from vertex. I bought a rebuilt 915 transmission from them and it lasted 3000 miles, but since I was a year late putting it in my warranty was gone. The mechanic at the shop told me it was one of the worst rebuild attempts he had ever seen. Mismatched parts, not setup properly etc..
Good news out of all that was I got my original transmission rebuilt and back in the car and it has worked perfectly.
