Central console question

Hi
I'm trying to fix the central console on my sc. the carpet is in place and I can't seem to find any locating holes beneath. Could someone tell me what I'm looking for please - I'm assuming there are a couple of self, tapping screws that secure the bracket.

Regards......

When I installed my carpet and figured out I forgot to mark the holes I set the console roughly in place then used a straight dental pick to poke around till i found the original holes.

I think you have three screws, they are sheet metal that go into inserts. Hopefully the inserts are present and aligned in the holes. If you find one, you will eventually find all. Because of the inserts, which tend to fall out or twist into odd angle, I would gently peel back the carpet to find. With some spray glue you can re-attach. Otherwise, you can probe around with a sharp ice-pick type tool until you think you have found the holes. Screw your fastener in place to confirm, then find the others.
Good luck. I find that finding screw holes is the most time consuming and frustrating part of interior re-assembly.
