I really like it with the fixed roof. I heard rumors that it will be a folding hardtop, a la Merc SLK... makes sense, because Porsche owns the company that designed the SLK's roof system.

I have to say that I am pretty disappointed with Autospies this week.
First they show month old pictures of the Carrera GT and then they announce that the VW Golf R32 is coming to the States. If I read them, I want them to show us something new, not rehashed old stuff. Still a cool site, just an off week.

Is it just me or do these 'spy' pics look like the driver has parked up , got out and taken some photos himself?

Am I the only one who thinks its ugly???
Reminds me of a sleek boxter with a bad wing.

That must be about the most uncomplimentary angle possible to have taken a picture.
When is a 'rice' tail, not a rice tail?, when it's on a car that can do 300kmh

I'm undecided, but I do notice it is small and has some shape. This is very different from other recent Porsches that look like big bricks.
Porsche made motoring history years ago, partly by demonstrating that size matters in racing (small is better). So, Mazda comes out with the Miata which is wildly popular, while Porsche is making bricks that weigh more than a ton and a half. I'm not sure about those German engineers anymore. Their dads were pretty smart, but.....

What do you guys think about a retractable wing? Porsche has a thing for those now.

Too big to fail

Looks like it was built from parts of a Boxster, Audi TT, Toyota MR2 and a New Beetle

Bull's Ass:
That IS more like it! That looks 100 times better! You should submit your resume to the Porsche Design Team immediately! At the very least you should fax them that picture saying "We want it this way"! Dr. Gary: I think the current (future) GT wing is already retractable.
