I am going to take off my CV joint's. Is it safe to keep the car on jack stands on the torsion bars while removing the cv joint and axle ?
I know the axle is not providing support but will it weaken the structure if left like that for ove a week while I have the joints serviced. ? |

I had my car like that for about a year! I wouldn't worry about it, but I would put a backup set of jack stands underneath the trailing arms. Even the most robust things break, and you'd hate to bet your left on your torsion bar cover, or even a cheap jack stand...
