The later, 3.3 turbo tail was available on an SC starting in 1981. Call it a tea tray, if you want.

The placement of the SC emblem was different, with and without tail.

i did not know that.
IMO that tail is way too bulky for an SC or narrow body Carrera. YMMV

I agree but that's the way it came. I like the Carrera style much better.
