Is there an easy way to remove rear glass in my targa without breaking it??

I just did a glass out respray and I cut the old seal. Once cut the glass lifted right out. Reinstall was a real pain. Need to remove the targa bar cover for reinstallation. Best to use a new seal when you remove the rear glass anyway.

I thought the targa bar might have to come off for installation. Oh well I am getting ready to do a paint job and there's no way I'm gonna spend all that time and not take all the glass out. Did the targa bar come out easily??

Definitely cut the old rubber.

Targa bar is easy. Screws around the front (obscured by the front rubber) and nuts from inside the rear fender right up the top under the lowest point of the targa bar (which will probably break off the captive studs because they are very susceptible to rusting - easy enough to weld replacements back on).
