Okay Fellas,
I recently changed my ICV Hoses on my 3.2 and while I was in there figured, I will service the Throttle Body Flap, AFM Sensor and Idle Adjustment Screw. ![]() Whoa, those suckers was DIRTY! I used Throttle Body Cleaner and AFM specific cleaner on the sensor. Okay all was going well then I noticed the upper Breather Hose #28. WTD??? It had allot of oil residue and it was spilling into the throttle body. I know this can't be good. So, What's the deal? This must be condensation from the filler neck that it is attached to? No? Is there a way to limit the stilling of the oil from getting into the TB? ![]() If you fellas have not serviced your TB, I highly recommend it. I serviced my Mom in Law's Prius, my Dad's Subaru and son's ES300. All run much better now. Can't really tell on my 3.2. She runs pretty good already but the oil in the TB is not good. Now I know why LarryM here recommended the hoses to be cleaned before a smog check, this would have definitely made the HC's go up ![]() Just in case, No, I never over fill, ever. TIA, Jim
