H4 Upgrade from UK
The headlights listed at Buy Porsche 911 1965-1989 911 Turbo 3.3L 1978-89 Headlamps LHD | Design 911, are those essentially the same that Pelican used to have at Pelican Parts.com - Lighting Upgrades ?
I did contact design911 and naturally they informed me that all their headlights are all European H4's, but I won't have any surprises getting those for a US '87 930? Was headed to the UK in May and was thinking to pick them up. |

Don't UK Headlights have the reverse beam pattern since they drive on the left side of the road?

Yes, the lights for the UK market do have reverse pattern, and will badly glare into the eyes of on-coming drivers here in the US. You want LHD drive lights.

Right, they sell both RHD and LHD though - those are LHD in the link so I presume those will be good.

Those are over $550 each. Have you considered these?
Pelican Parts - Product Information: 70476-M44 I have those, and they are outstanding. They look like standard sealed beams. And install a relay kit in any event, if you don;t already have one. |
