I'd sure like a RarlyL8 sticker to slap on my car, I am very happy with my cat bypass / 1 in / 1 out muffler. With Steve Wong chip, makes 241 hp.

I have a set with heaters coming soon. I'll keep you posted...

I wouldn't mind a rarlyl8 sticker either. 241, that's pretty impressive, what engine/any other mods? I doubt I make that much with my full system, but then again I haven't taken it to the dyno yet.

I need to order another system for the RSR project. 3.2 engine with PMOs now in place... got to make that puppy sound nice.

Email sent Brian!

Putting those baffles, I noticed the punch I lost was quite back. Not sure about the experience of other, but worked on mine. On taming the sound, I noticed it slightly different but couldn't remember if it toned down a bit.

I did the exact opposite. I switched from M&K GT3/QR baffles to Fabspeed Supercups. I think the mid-range torque is slightly better with the Supercups. I'd love to try the headers as my car currently has no heat anyway. I could then do a full heater delete in the engine bay as I won't need air sent to the exchangers.

Jaime, I'll be interested to hear your results with the new system. Would you think it a waste of $ to run this system on a stock engine with no upgrades?

I will let you know when it is back in the car. That is the setup on the RS project... all stock engine...

I know this sounds silly... but I just love the looks of the system... the construction is outstanding. Can't wait to listen to it. And I had to cut my stock manifolds to get them out... so not like I could have stayed with my stock setup. See how I keep justifying the expense :D

On the RSR project... that one just got a 3.2 with PMOs... getting the same exhaust system setup but with the R muffler so that the tips align with the existing cut outs.... we will get to listen to that much sooner than the RS project...

I have a complete Fabspeed setup in my 964... and, even if the craftsmanship is also top notch, I have never been happy with the drone and sound it puts out...

In the process of sorting out the tips but +1 for Brian.

Not sure if they are new but one has to be removed to adjust the valves. Minor shaving required.

Dry ice detail is needed, sorry for the gross pics.

Look at the copper exhaust nuts in the picture, you can see them all. These headers were designed to be installed or removed in a matter of minutes. It's a good idea every 10k miles to loosen the exhaust hardware anyway and not spill oil all over the headers. The headers hug the block to give max ground clearance and also to not interfere with the rubber S pipe that goes from the oil cooler on the engine to the oil tank. That is a spot that does not need to be cooked by headers.

Yes this past year has been a challenge to say the least, we are starting to catch up and reduce lead times. Fingers crossed that the stainless steel supply chain shortages ease up soon.

Left you a VM last week. What's the current lead time for a set of MK-HE163L-911?

RarlyL8 06-27-2021 10:29 AM

Right now about 6 weeks. All are build to order per application.
