Is this autopower cage pca legal because im probably going to just buy the autopower roll bar for now its cheapest option i know of then the u weld front cage in future or custom. As far as i can tell from reading the rules it is good to go. ![]() I have a 74 targa to cabriolet conversion. Do i need the uweld front cage for the cabriolet or for the targa? You may want to find a cage builder in your area and get a quote on what you are trying to do.

I have a bolt in DAS roll bar in my cab. Never had an issue at VIR. What you have pictured is far more than what is required for DE. Unless you want a cage. Your title says roll bar and the DAS will meet your needs.

It wasn't PCA, but I failed NASA HPDE Tech for having a DAS roll bar with stock seats.
The thing about cages, you really get what you pay for. A good cage builder will make you a bar that better fits your car, because they don't have to worry about the complete bar assembly fitting in the door to install, it is assembled in place. on edit: The downside to this route is that it is a lot harder to remove if you decide you don't want it any more. Even though nobody ever sat in the back seats in my car, you lose the ability to put stuff back there, unless it fits around the bars. The car becomes a lot less practical. I got a customized bimarco expert seat on the way.
Now I have another question. I should be able to buy a different brand seat for passenger and pass pca tech right? What if i have a 6pt fia camlock and they have a 5pt sfi latch n link? |
