When to do a valve adjustment?
When is it time for a valve adjustment (3.2 motor)? I have never had to do it and what are the tell tale signs?
Also what is a fair price or what can I expect to pay for an independent specialist to do this? Thanks!

Every 10k miles. It's about $400.

When you do not hear the healthy clicking, and the motor is quiet. Total sweeping statement, but I have found this to be the case. At worst, the valves have recessed into their respective seats and tightened up the clearances.
I learned this setting valves on Honda 400/4s (and other Japanese multis). You REALLY notice the lack of even clicking and the related bad idle.
