82 SC - how to remove heating / vent controls?

Hey team,

What's the procedure for removing the vent controls in the dash (the unit containing the slider knobs) - is it press fit like the gauges, or is there a hidden screw somewhere, or both? I have looked in Bentley and all over this forum, but can't find a description of it. Thought I'd ask before I just start pulling on it.

Thanks!

Oh wow, so helpful. The rod for my middle slider is bent and needs love, thought it was tougher to get in there.

Thanks Pelicans.
