i bought a very inexpensive part from them via an ebay auction. it was represented as NOS..............it arrived and it looked like a very poor replica of what i thought i had purchased.
it wasn't a lot of money, so i chalked it off. i would never buy from them again. |

I got a VDO Clock that was a pull from PAP for $65.00. No problems. The other posts here would discourage me from any future purchases unless they were the only place that had my part.
Price is sometimes not the best deal. Customer Service always keeps me coming back (these days a rare comodity). Jason 88 Cab |

I "bought" one off ebay from them too. I drove up to PAP from work one afternoon to pick it up, as I was also interested in purchasing a spare deck lid for installation of a tail - didn't want to drill holes in the original. After rejecting the tail described over the phone as "good tail, ready for paint" because of the RUST on the seams underside, I asked about the crest. Long story short - I told them I wasn't interested in it either. It looked like a very cheaply made reproduction.

Fritz,
Did you try these folks for the Ducktail? http://www.mbhinc.com/html/duck_tails.html Earlier this summer, someone on this forum posted this info. I spoke to these folks last month and I was quoted $850 and 4-6 weeks lead time.... Good Luck, Bob |

Joe Cogbill is a crook. I had dealing with him and I wont go into the details because its a long story, but basically he ripped me off and when I wanted to back out of the deal, he would not let me.
I Live in Atlanta and have been to his shop. When there during the "deal" that left me screwed, they were rebuilding a 930 engine. The wrench doing the work had absolutely no clue what he was doing and Joe was running over every few minutes to tell him what to do next. Nothing was being torqued propertly. Used parts were going in randomly with new. Finally the wrench called Joe over with a problem, he had done something wrong and cracked the case near a bearing web. I would bet this was not fixed properly and the owner was never told... There are folks in PCA here who get on well with Joe and seem to get treated fairly. I would call them a minority, an "in" crowd that has known him for a long time. Everyone else is treated like a potential new victim. Most folks I know in PCA wont go near PAP. As for me, I will quit playing with Porsches before Joe gets another dime of my $$$. Terry |

I would say if you have a a unresolved problem with PAP you should do the following:
Post it on his web site as a disasitfied customer, next notify the Better Business here in Atlanta, and third, notify PCA of his goings on - they may have some leverage and all else fails, group togehter and file a class action claim against him and his company. I am sure there is a lawyer in the North GA area that would represent you guys. Steve |

bought something from PAP off of ebay about a month ago. it took almost 3 weeks to ship and then i was charged slightly more than double for the product. took me a week to get the problem fixed - i haven't seen my credit card statement yet. i knew i had dodged a bullet and immediately erased his site from my favorites list. now i know that i really dodged automatic weapon fire.

I bought some recovered seats from PAP listed on ebay. After a month and several emails/phone calls from me they finally shipped. What I got was clearly not the set pictured. Metal frames dirty and rusted, mechanism broken. Pretty shlocky workmanship on the upholstery. When I contacted to voice my displeasure, no response.
I will never do business with PAP again.

Wow I think I just dodge a bullet on this one. I had been considering buying one of the chin spoilers he always has listed. Buit after reading this I know I would never order anything from him. I looked at his e-bay feedback and the results seem to backup everything said here. 44 Negatives and 31 Neutrals. That is pretty high no matter how much feedback you have. This is one more reason I just love coming to this board. The information here is priceless. I'll keep my money going to Wayne.
