Power windows don't work after steering wheel installation

I installed a new steering wheel last night and thought everything went great. Went for a drive tonight and the power windows won't work. Checked all the fuses and they check fine with the multimeter. Any ideas if I could have screwed something up??

Thank you

if you simply just replaced steering wheel I don't know how that could have screwed with your windows.

Do any of the 3 switches work?

Everything else(lights, fans, wipers, radio) appear to be working.

there is nothing in the steering column that would affect window operation

so you want BOTH steering and windows to work?
When you say you checked the fuses with a multimeter, did you check from one post of the fuse holder to the opposite post, or did you remove each fuse and check individually?
I am asking because an individual fuse may check OK but not the end-to-end (post to post).

I checked the copper elements, they all look fine (no burn marks) and tested OK with the meter.

The copper elements on the fuses themselves or on the posts of the fuse holders, with the fuses installed? Big difference, hence my asking...

25A fuse, location #1 closest to the front bulkhead, fuse pulled and checks ok.

Check for continuity between posts with the fuse IN. Then check for voltage from the bottom post and ground.
You may have a good fuse but a bad connection because of oxidation on the wires.

Gilles,

Thanks for your help with the diagnosis. And upon an autopsy it was discovered that I inadvertently bumped out the fuse entirely. I thought the end space was open. Installed fuse and life is great.

I appreciate your help.

Cheers
