German H4 headlights new unavailable ??
Are new German Bosche H4 headlights available? I know chech repro are around but mainly asking about the German made variety? If available where and how much? I'm not talking used, new in box only. Thx

The Czech lights are not repros, they are the original Bosch tooling moved to the Bosch/Marelli spin-off company 'AL' in the Czech Republic. Same everything, except the logo on the lens, and paper sticker on the back. I've had mine for over 3 years.
Please note that even if you get new H4s from Porsche in Porsche boxes, what you get now are the Czech AL lights. Bosch in Germany has more important stuff to build for current cars, so they moved the low volume products to AL. I guess my question is - how important is that Bosch name on the lens to you?
