England's Version of Cars and Coffee!!!

If you are this side of the pond, I am starting a similar event starting this Sunday at the Three Horseshoes Pub in Madingly, Cambridge, England.

I'm calling it "Internal Combustion and Coffee", so as to not infringe copyright and so I'll hopefully attract bikers as well.

Inaugural Internal combusters meetup: Sunday 19th April 2015. Location TBC - Internal combustion and coffee... (Cambridge, England) - Meetup

Tea, coffee and a nice discussion about tyre pressures.... What an English summer is made for.....

Coffee is becoming a thing over here, with Starbucks, Costa, Cafe Nero etc...

All of the above carry a fine selection of teas though, England remains England....

This is the first one Ian, so will test and adjust as we go along.

Also, if you have other location suggestions (up your way) Id be happy to give that a go...

At least stateside, having it in the morning(generally starting somewhere between 7:00am-8:00am) ensures that the trashier elements are still hung over from drinking the night before and have little interest in rolling out of bed to crash the nice car event with their fart canned Evo or donk'd GTI.

If you keep having these, I'll be living in Suffolk by late July and I plan to ship my '79 SC. So I'll be up for meeting the local Pelican crowd in Cambs.

Meetup success!

OK it was a bit low key, but Ian came down in his Golden Bullet ('79SC) and myself and Lady-Wrench admired his machine and the work he did on it.

It turns out Ian and I have enjoyed similar careers, which made Lady-Wrench's eyes roll a bit... But, it has already proven its worth as we both hard parts to spare that we, or someone else might be interested it.

Ill announce the next one when I catch my breath....

And mine's a '79 SC. Good to meet you both today, well worth a drive out. The place I couldn't remember was Sportwagen in Southend, have a look.
