Cool Need an accurate price for my 1997-993

Am considering selling my '97-993 coupe. Second owner of 17 years, 93k, garaged, chrome wheels, titanium pkg., all stock, white w/grey interior, 6 spd.. stick, beyond immaculate!! KBB states $28K-$34K because of mileage, not considering supply and demand. However, I enjoyed driving it while maintaining its mechanical health. Am also checking with my mechanic for pricing. Hate to let her go, but health dictates an auto. trans. car now. It is time for some else to cherish her. Any input?

I'd say closer to $40K, but it will take a while to sell if you want premium. We just picked up a 96 993, immaculate, with 52K miles for $36K last week.

That's insanely cheap, but I don't follow the 993 market.

Picked up? You stole that car at that price, even if it were a tip cab.

I'd say $40 or so for the OP's car.

Have the valve guides been replaced? What are the leak down #s?
Talked to a guy last week who recently bought a '96. Beautiful car.
He had to have the top end done due to valve guides$

Unless I'm missing it - 1994 is the newest year for Porsche that Hagerty has values for.

This is true.

Depending on maintenance, I also see $40k+ for the OP's car.

Edit: Woah, never checked Hagerty for the '94 993. According to them, the average value for my '86 is about $1k higher than the average '94 Carrera 2.

Nope you are not missing it, I was. I guess the '97 is not a classic. I'll take it off the owners hands for 15k.

You may want to go to rennlist and ask there. It will sell fast if priced right. My guess is its worth $40-45k if its in really good shape.

Sorry folks, no time to post photos last weekend. Will in the next few days.
Anyway, in answer to someone's question: the top end has been done already.
Don't know what the leak #'s are(??) Have every receipt since I've owned it.
