Carreras tensioner upgrade
I just installed the left side tensioner and the new chain sprocket idler but there appears to be about an eighth of inch space on the idler shaft is there a spacer for in between the timing case and the sprocket idler????

Are your idler arms the later style or the early style with a spacer?

Per 84-86 katalog there is no spacer, but take note you do need a seal as I a sure you are aware.
