930S Steering Wheel Fitment

I have this Genuine Porsche steering wheel that (according to my mechanic) will not fit my '81 911SC. Is this hub correct, and if not where can I find the right one? I'm assuming I can swap hubs...

Thanks.

My 79 SC has a 930S wheel, and it fits fine. It has an extender/spacer thing on it that moves it out about 3-4 inches. I can't seem to find any pictures of the extender.

That hub is for an '86-on 944, a 964, a 968.

That;s what I suspected. Is a 911 hub available?

930s spacer

I got a 1" spacer for my special wishes wheel which uses the same for the 930s. Its made for Atiwe which I believe made the 930s wheel not sure though. With regards to thickness, im also curious if there is anything out there more than 1" aside from an extended hub. Here is what my spacer looks like

I tried to find a picture online, but couldn't. I'll attempt to remember to take a picture on the way home tonight.

Sorry, but this isn't making any sense at all to me. The '74 - 89 hub pictured on the PP site looks just like the one in my original post, so how can it be incorrect to begin with? It has that curved metal tongue just like on my wheel?

Same general shape, different diameter steering shaft.

Ah, so its just the shaft diameter that's different? Thanks.

I think the Pelican spacer is eccentric as well.
Been a while since I read the details.
My 930s wheel fits my '78 nicely without a spacer, but, I'm 6'2" with long arms...
