Strange clutch plate in my 71' 911T - need help with identification

Hi,

I'm looking to replace the clutch plate in my 71' 911T that has a 911/01 transmission.

But look what I found when I disassembled the clutch:





Does anybody know what kind of clutch plate this is?

It does have the original pressure plate: 3032015199

As I could find, the clutch plate that would fit is a: Sachs 1878 005 614 but this looks very different.

Any help is highly appreciated.

That's the original rubber centered clutch disk. Amazing to see one nowdays. Most will replace it with a spring centered disk.

Can it be substituted with the 1878 005 614, without any problems?

I will definitely keep the rubber centered as a memory.

Looks like there's plenty of meat left on it but I bet the rubber's shot. eBay it for $300!

Just be sure to use the words 'vintage' , 'rare', and 'hard to find' in your listing!

Yes, I believe that 1878 005 614 is the correct replacement.
