Rare color?
A friend of mine has a 70T in turquoise (turkey) green 6831. I've been part of Porschedom since 1967 and I have never seen this color. It is factory. Just how rare is this color? Anybody have one in turkey green? Hope the pic loads. I'm not good at that part.

That is quite rare. Would like to get the VIN and a photo of the paint badge for my records. Also the DOT decal from the door post if it has one. Best to send by email.

6831 was the turquoise green code for a 1968 or 1969 model year. If the car is a 1970T coupe, the correct color code for turquoise green should be 6464.
These were not standard but we're optional special colors.

By pure coincidence, I came across these photos soon after reading your post -- no affiliation to the copyright holder; I found these on this link: Schnell Autosports Events OEM, Genuine & Aftermarket Parts | Performance + Racing | Accessories

My photos look a lot more blue than the paint sample, but the sample, in person, looks dead onto the OP's bluish/green first pic. Must be the camera or lighting. The pic to the right of 6464 is 6565 Turquoise Green, a VERY green color. ![]()

Beautiful color. It looks very close to the Velvet Green that my 69 came in.
