I believe in 1986 the Factory changed to 16 x7 and 16 x 9.

'77-'85 7 & 8 x 16
'86-'89 7 & 9 x 16
Ruf 9 & 10 x 17

Ruf also made an 8 for the front but that was more often found on a narrow body car.
