Turbo Tie Rods
Is it possible to tell if my car has turbo tie rods without pulling back the boots ?

It should be possible. A turbo tie rod has only one lock nut, and the stock tie rod has two lock nuts. You can see both types of tie rods here for comparison. According to PET both lock nuts should be outside the rubber boot on the stock tie rod.

Yes, look at the pictures of the TTRs in Pelican's catalog, then look at yours.
The differences are easy to discern and you don't need to pull the boots back. |

Thanks Guys , I'm ordering some Elephant Racing bump steer tie rod ends and I needed to know which tie rods I had .

Scott - if you are installing bump steer stuff, you should convert to turbo tie rods first as part of a performance package.
