Windshield Wiper Switch
Apparently my wiper switch on my 74 911 has failed. The switch is NLA. Anyone have information on replacing it with later designs or what is involved in a "rebuild"?

Was this all of a sudden or did you add something recently, maybe a new steering wheel?

It was sudden. Driving in the rain, and there was a slight noise in the area of the steering wheel, or ?? like a slow rattle, and then the wipers quit. Fuse is good. Motors on these are bullet proof, and the switches are known to be questionable (a one year application) and the switch is 41 years old. When rebuilding the car a few years ago, we debated updating the whole steering column and switches to mid 80s parts, and decided (for some reason) not to.
