What Is This ? (CIS??)
I was cleaning and fiddling with a 78 CIS intake that is new to me, and I noticed this little plug lying on the bench. I looked all over the CIS and I do not see an obvious place where it would fit> What is it? Where does it go?

That is the little plug that fits in the hole where you drop in the long 3mm allen wrench to adjust your air fuel mixture.
The hole is between the fuel distributor and the air sensor plate body on a flat surface. Best to get a mirror and a flashlight. Another way to say it's location is immediately to the passenger side and down from that big rubber snorkle thingie on top of the engine.

Yes. That is a plug for the hole on top of the fuel distributor where you can insert the 3mm Allen to adjust mixture.
Hole is down in the area just to the left of where all of the distribution lines are attached. Cooper Edit: Bob beat me to it 😃 |
