Colorado Pelicans..have a favor to ask!!
I live in the Denver metro area and have a euro 930.. of course this poses problems with emissions
I was told to hunt down the EPA paper work when it was imported to make sure it was done so correctly.. well calls to the EPA have turned into a dead end on locating that. Next up would be to put all the smog equipment on the car..cat and so on. Don't have that stuff.. What my favor is.. If you're one of the lucky ones that lives in a county that doesn't require emissions, can I register at your address to get around this nonsense! Any Colorado springs pelicans looking to help a comrade out?! Thank you in advance!!

could you set up a mailing address via a mailboxes, etc. (etc.) in a county that doesn't require smog and register your car via that mailbox?

I'm not sure.. I found a CO Springs address of a co-worker that said I could use! Off to see if I can get plates!

Years ago a friend from Colorado Springs with a '75 Euro Turbo got a post-office box in Hinsdale County (Lake City) and registered the car there.

I would gladly trade you my 911 for your 930! That should solve your problems. We don't have emissions here.

Thanks for the responses everyone! I went down there to get it done this afternoon but I had done the title transfer just this morning so it wasn't in the state system everywhere. Said come back on June 1 and should be good to go! Hopefully

I attended the Cars & Coffee event last month. The Porsche's were very well represented! There were many fine 911's & 930's there. Perhaps someday my 78 SC will be worthy enough to attend. |
