AC help

My evaporator died so I replaced it with a new one which was pretty straight forward. Except the 3 1/8" hose going from the evaporation housing to the ac ducting fell apart. Where can I buy this hose? I have 3 different kinds of 3" brake duct and air duct hose that cannot be stretched over the 3 1/8" housing.

One thing you might consider, depending on the tubing type that you select, is cutting the support wire back a ways (say about an inch), and folding the tubing back inside itself to double it up. That is what I did for SCAT tubing to strengthen the area where the band would be.

Kuel provides the ducting piece in one of his kits, maybe he will sell you one.

Go to Home Depot, get the dryer 3" hose, tight fit but it works, just cut to size.

But it will fail concours, +2 purchase OEM part from Pelicans
